Another trip to the vets

We all went to the vets this morning to have my blood pressure taken again. It was 205 before my op which is why I was put on tablets to bring it down a lot. The day before my op (less than a week), it had dropped to 140. ?When it was checked this morning, it had gone back up to 185 which got everyone a bit worried why it had shot back up so quickly.

Perhaps it was the stress of the op, perhaps it was the stress of having to bark at all the other dogs in the vets waiting room, perhaps it was because mummy didn't get chance to go in with me this time to tickle my tummy whilst it was done, who knows ?

We have to go back next Wednesday to have it checked again to see if it has come back down, hope so !

Whilst we were there, Sue, the nice vet lady, gave me a bigger lamp shade collar to try. The inflatable pillow didn't work too well as I could still bend my head round to lick my poorly leg which mummy and daddy weren't too impressed with. My old collar was also a bit too small as I could just about reach my leg so we will see if the bigger collar stops me licking.

This afternoon, I spent some quiet time resting in my pushchair in the garden.

Mummy has also bought me a nice new parasol for my pushchair to protect me from too much sun.

By the end, I was so tired, I fell asleep with my ear in my dinner bowl !

Today we all went to Sherwood Forest for a little walk as it was a lovely day again.

We stopped on the way round for a drink and a bicky but I've become a little picky of ?late what I will drink out of. Can anyone guess what I use for a water bowl nowadays ?

After being pushed for what seemed like miles, I was a little tired so I put my head down and went to sleep.

Sub-editor mummy told me to say it's a shell out of the garden and not my usual drink bowl :(

I have been wearing my lamp shade for a while now and it is a bit uncomfortable and not very flattering to say the least !

Last time Auntie Hazel came to give me a hair cut, she lent me one of her inflatable collars to try. I will report back in a while to say if it is any better.

Just waiting now for mummy and daddy to take me for a swim :)

I have been lazing around most of the day, getting used to wearing my lamp shade collar.

In the afternoon, we popped round next door to show Auntie Madge and Auntie Julie my new push chair and they gave me some treats for being a brave boy.

At night, we went to pick up Lucy from G & G 's and she seemed very glad to see me again and gave me lots and lots of kisses.

Daddy wasn't prepared and didn't have his camera ready to record the reunion :(
